Carmen Thyssen Space

The Carmen Thyssen Space is another of the great artistic and cultural attractions of the Costa Brava, together with Girona and Figueras. Opened in 2012, the space is located in the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Monastery and accommodates temporary exhibitions from June to October with works from the private collection of Carmen Thyssen Bornemisza, which includes paintings by Van Gogh, Gauguin, Kandinsky and Matisse. The new Carmen Thyssen Museum in Sant Feliu de Guíxols is expected to open from the second half of 2020 and will have a permanent exhibition of Catalan paintings.
